Addie’s Personal Training Studio  Raises $13,040 for Autism!

Addie’s Studio 8th Annual Remodel Your Body™ Challenge benefits Autism Tree Project Foundation. This year, 80 challengers and 6 Sponsors raised more than $13,040.

SAN DIEGO, April 2010 - Addie’s Personal Training Studio, boutique-style fitness studio located in Pacific Beach, announced today that their eighth annual Remodel Your Body™ Challenge (RYB) raised over $13,040 for Autism Tree Project Foundation (ATPF).

First and only FITNESS fundraiser for Autism in San Diego.

The Remodel Your Body™ Challenge is an annual, eight-week fitness challenge open to San Diego residents looking to get in shape for a great cause. This year, 80 volunteer participants raised more than $13,040 to provide much-needed funding to the ATPF programs.

The RYB challenge included a $100 entry fee for each challenger and participants received seven 50 minute boot camp workouts at Addie’s Studio.

First-born daughter was diagnosed with Autism in 2006 at age 2.

For the past five years, RYB has raised significant money to benefit the MS Society.  Addie Merrill shifted benefactors the year after her first-born daughter was diagnosed with Autism in 2007 at age 3.  In 2008 and 2009 she supported the ASA (Autism Society of America) and most recently the ATPF.

“We are so proud to be able to support the Autism Tree Project Foundation,” said Addie Merrill. “I have been so impressed with their support services and am excited to be able to help contribute to their program.”
